Attorney General Menachem Mazuz decided Tuesday that President Moshe Katsav should face charges for alleged rape, sexual harassment, obstruction of justice, fraud and breach of trust. The sexual assault charges relate to the claims of four women who worked for Katsav during his terms as president and before that as a cabinet minister. Katsav's attorney, David Libai, told reporters Tuesday that the president would fulfill his promise to the High Court of Justice and suspend himself until Mazuz issued a final decision on the matter.
